I’d guess that it’s all about some future financial gain in the event of his death. Like maybe pension benefits or life insurance. If that’s not it, I am puzzled because of the huge age difference.

I have no opinion. It is their life. I wouldn’t myself,go out with a man 40 years older than me, but i do not pass judgment on thos who do…unless we are talking about a 16 year old with a 56 year old.

Let them live…i’m sure you have other things to worry about.

Look at Aston Kutcher and Demi Moore. If he is a womanizer then she will see the light. Most women date much older men because they feel secure. Most men date younger women because they can, they see it as a challenge, or something exciting. Give it a few years and this appeal will either wear off or stick. If it sticks then they are meant for each other. Besides he is not going to be around forever.

At 80 its not dating anymore it more of having a caregiver. It sounds odd but they are both old enough to do as they please.
