Nothing wrong with adapting good ideas from competitors, but i don’t think its wise to include them into promotions like this, especially when the originator did it really well first, every1 knows Apple did single solid piece of aluminum first, did you intend to remind ppl about how good Apple is when watching this video, let alone some would say Sony is a copier. Still 5* tho, made me love/want this product.

and so much competition among the peers, so nothing seem that impressive to them. u know SONY had the Microsoft table kinda thing about 15 yrs ago, they had 3D conference solution back in 2002, minority report type of interface in 2000 among other super high tech and impressive innovations, they just never bothered to make a “NOISE” about them, like Apple, ANY TINY bit of design to Apple is a huge leap in mankind, they make a lot of noise, but they never produce any impressive products

no pro. well i agree that regular consumers dont need 2 learn any company’s history, however, whenever someone wanna make a statement about that company, I DO believe we need to do a bit research before we speak.

well the truth is those Japanese companies never make a big deal about any innovation or breakthru they make, unlike Korean and American, all impressive design to us are simply a bit of achievement to them, especially for SONY guys, their research and design department is so massive

Thanks for letting me know a bit Sony history and the cylinder design thing. I believe that consumers shouldn’t be responsible for learning history and facts, maybe enthusiasts can but not average people. I was gonna say Sony should have done a better job at promoting its revolutionary designs. But since the opponent here is Apple, maybe that would be too picky.

just becuz Apple was the first used single piece of ALUMINUM doesnt meant they are the first in this, matter of FACT, SONY was the frist to introduced and used Metal for laptop casing back in the 1995 and made it famous in 1997 with 505 series, it’s just not many ppl learn the history and FACTS, Apple is copies about EVERYTHING SONY does

also what he meant was that SONY enchaged the cylinder dsign, used to be a piece of solid alum plus the cylinder part, but now it’s intergrated together.

it’s a shame to see …
it’s a shame to see there are ppl take Apple so seriously, and think it’s some kinda big player in morden CE industry, matter of fact, Apple is such a small company with so LITTLE to contribute, it’s pathetic anyone would give a rat about them, then again like u said, MOST ppl dont know the history nor facts about the company.

SONY makes amazing commericals just not those full of itself BS skits.

and Apple is never an “opponent” to SONY, that’s kinda degrading haha
