OMG. Have you ever heard the blackier the berry the sweeter the juice. I really think that is if you cant handle a strong women then it wouldnt be right. Black women have a tendency to be very voiceful because they have been through so much, but they are no better or worst than any other race. Race has nothing to do with how a person is going to love you or like you. Honestly, who cares what other people think as long as your happy.

I don’t think it’s a bad thing. I think it has to do with stereotypes. (As do most things involving race.)
People that have never been around black women or that only have been around a certain group of black women tend to make judgments based on small groups. In the media, black women are often portrayed as loud, rude, promiscuous, obnoxious and more often than not, crazy. This could be said about any group of people of any race or gender. What you really need to look at is who the person is. You can have someone with all of those attributes in any race just as easily as you can have a black woman with none of those attributes. Not everyone in rural Arkansas owns a gun, but that’s how it’s perceived. No two people are alike, and whoever you date should be based on WHO they are. If you like a black woman, then date a black woman. Even if every black woman you have EVER come in contact with is horrible, it doesn’t mean all of us are.

I know plenty of couples that would fall into this scenario and they are lovely people.

I think that the stereotypical image of a black woman who has a bad attitude and tons of kids sticks in some people’s minds because of what is on tv and in movies.

I’m white/italian and my fiance is african american so I know what you mean. Some people might think its a bad thing b/c they are racist. But in all actuality, my fiance is a smart, educated man .. and there are black women out there like him too that get looked down on b/c of sterotypes.

If you think it’s bad to date someone because of their race, then you need to re-evaluate your beliefs.

i think most of those guys you know just dont find black women attractive
Like me for example, im not really attracted to most black women but i would still date a black woman if i liked her and found her attractive

Most people would not look down upon this. But it could be looked down upon, but only by those who are ignorant or uneducated.

absolutely not. im white and think black women are gorgeous. But it depends on what you like. I like a woman with curves and a more black women fit that description. Dont belive the stereotype that their loud and obnoxious either. Cus i dated one and she was the complete opposite and very sexy.

No it's not a bad thing. Some people are still stuck on the whole racial issue, which bothers me. Race should not come between you and someone you like. I mean, there are cultural clashes when it comes to families, but over all, people who won't consider dating a certain group of people (in this case black women) are either just not attracted or are still seeing people as colour and race first. And that's very wrong.

It's not a bad thing. It's just that, according to where you live, the negatives that come from the pressures of society may outweigh the positives of dating a black girl. I live in a rural area of the south, and a lot of guys won't date black girls because they know that a lot of people, especially older people, look down on it. You just have to compare the number of positives to the number of negatives.

depends on your family. but realistically most moms would hate to see their son bring home a black woman. i give it like one more generation before this ends. im 23 now so i would probably be 55 when this perspective is totally changed.
