You are taking precautions. If you really knew that she liked and cared about you…all that would be unnecessary. You don’t trust her and how old are you? I think it is important to know how old you three are because it might be important to know that age and maturity and making final decisions on who you want to stay true to usually does not happen between age 20 and 30.

What im saying is that if she is still young….she could easily dump you like that…..(snaps fingers) and go back to her ex and you will be one poor sod.

I understand your concern that she’ll leave to get back with her ex but if you really trust her you’ll let her know that you love her and that you trust her and you trust the amount of love she has for you is enough. If she likes you she’ll never want to hurt you. Women are dedicated to a guy if they truly like him,so give her space and freedom and if she likes you she’ll stay dedicated to you. By the way you don’t have to trust him, its not him your dating, its her. So trust her and she’ll stick around.

well it kinda says your controlling and that you dont trust her. but I kinda understand the whole being alone thing. discuss it with her, dont just tell her that she's not allowed because then you'll seem like shes you possession.

Don’t trust her, I tried that with my girlfriend and she absolutely doesn’t listen, she let me be butthurt about it for a while and then explained that she got along without me before and knows how to handle herself, which promptly encouraged me to never try and control her again, although I can ask her not to do stuff and she can ask me, it seems like theres a double standard though, cos I’m all in trouble if I go out with an ex gf I don’t care though cos shes the only girl I need.

Anyways heres the short version, Girls can have guy friends, Guys usually don’t have girl friends.

It does give off the vibe for sure – Yes you can raise your concerns about how it worries you when she hangs out with her ex, but telling her she can’t hang out one on one is flat out trying to control her and that’s not healthy.
You need to communicate with your girlfriend and build up trust in each other, you can’t restrict someone, it’ll never work.
I’m in fact great friends with an ex whom I dated for 3 years, would I ever look at him as more then a friend again? Hell no. You see people in a different light sometimes – so give your girlfriend some more credit!

well i think u dont trust either, if she really loves u then shell b faithful and if she isnt faithful then i think u need to fiund someone who can be faithful, also i think u should let her go hang out with him once alone and if anything happends, that will determine what u do

I don’t think so and she shouldn’t want to do those type of things anyway. That would be very disrespectful, and she probably wouldn’t like it if the tables were turned. I don’t have a problem with my boyfriend talking to ex’s but yeah no hanging out or anything like that and I trust him.
So I am in the same boat on you with this one.
