I have had alopecia (a condition that leads to hair loss) ever since I was 13 (now 18) and I have always wondered what a guy would really think if they found out the woman they were dating wanted to ask out was bald. So I would really appreciate you honest opinions. I haven’t really dated much mostly because I don’t know how to even broach the subject. Any ideas?

If they won’t date you because of that, then they are shallow pigs. It isn’t your fault that you have alopecia. Don’t be afraid to say what you have and be proud of who you are.

I’m a bald man, so I know how it feels. I’m fairly young and it does indeed suck. Here is the thing though, and I am completely serious, if I were a woman and losing my hair I’d shave my head and just wear a wig. I’d also stay in good shape.
Look if you have a good body,a pretty face, and a warm personality guys will still date you. Trust me on this. And if a guy doesn’t like you because he finds out your bald, well tell him to take a hike. There are plenty of dirt bags out there, forget about them.
