Some scientists argue mitigation alone can no longer prevent dangerous levels of CO2. Can we successfully manipulate the climate system to avoid dangerous climate change? Do we understand the global climate system well enough to determine the feasibility and risks involved?

Keith spoke about using aerosols to deflect the rays of the sun although it wouldnt help with our current CO2 levels. According to him the aerosols would form marine stratocumulus clouds. He used a lot of emotive language in describing the perils to come with climate change and how it is our fault.
Flemming spoke about cloud seeding in Vietnam and Cuba yet continually emphasized how geo-engineering does not exist.
Robock spoke of all the different reasons geo-engineering might be bad including how it may do nothing at all. He did not address any health-related concerns.

Ya I guess it turns out that man-bear-pig is not real after all. Now we also know why algore has no friends. No real ones anyway. I guess his idea of a social gathering is being sued by 31,000 scientists. There seems to be a new trend developing in this country. If you are completely wrong about something…in every way…you just blame it on bad data and the people who gave you the bad data. 1: CO2 has risen for 10 years, but temps have fallen.
2: Higher temperatures cause CO2 increases, not the opposite.
3: Many periods of warmer/cooler weather (and higher/lower CO2) have happened for 20,000+ years.
4: The Mars polar ice-caps shrink/grow with the Earth polar ice-caps, which means warming/cooling is primarily caused by the sun.
We need 100% separation of science and state.
Government funded science == fraud.
Plants absorb CO2 & emit O2.

As a result, it looks like they found themselves trapped. They had the big research organizations, the big grants they discovered theyd built their conclusions on fine beach sand.
